Save the date!
The Town of Lincoln has partnered with the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority to plant two rain gardens within the bike loops at Ashby Drive Park, as well as to plant hundreds of trees along the banks of the Bartlett Creek! This project would not be possible without the support and funding from the Ontario Community Environment Fund and the Niagara Community Foundation.
In total, 4 trees, 71 shrubs, and 588 perennials will be used to construct the rain garden, and 325 trees will be planted in the riparian corridor!
Volunteers are needed to help this project succeed. The Town literally cannot pull this off without you! Please email volunteering@npca.ca to register yourself or your crew as volunteers!
