Bid Opportunities

The Town frequently purchases goods and services from vendors through our electronic bidding system. Our online system allows businesses to easily search for open, closed and awarded bid opportunities.

The Terms and Conditions for Purchase Orders apply unless other terms and conditions have been agreed to through a formal contract or formal purchasing process with the Town.

In general, the Town of Lincoln does not accept unsolicited offers or sales calls. Unsolicited proposals will not be accepted by the corporation unless it can be demonstrated that there is a significant benefit.

From time to time, the Town of Lincoln may deem equipment or other goods as surplus, and the items are disposed of via public auction or online auction. Items are sold “as is” and “where is” and there is no warranty or guarantee.

The Town of Lincoln is a member of the Niagara Public Purchasing Committee (NPPC). The NPPC membership comprises a broad spectrum of public agencies operating within the Niagara Region, including municipalities, school boards, colleges and various other public entities that share resource efforts to procure similar goods and services through collaborative processes to recognize additional savings.

In addition to being an active member of the NPPC, the Town of Lincoln intents to participate annually in collaborative group buying programs with one or more of the following organizations:

• Local Authority Services (LAS)
• Canoe Procurement Group of Canada
• Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM)
• Supply Chain Ontario (SCO)
• Canadian Collaborative Procurement Initiative (CCPI)
• Kinetic GPO

These certificates of insurance are to be completed by your insurance company or broker, as required.
