Supporting Local Businesses Through Economic Challenges
Our Commitment to Lincoln’s Business Community
The Town of Lincoln, in partnership with Downtown Beamsville BIA and the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, is taking proactive steps to support businesses affected by trade policy shifts, tariffs, and economic disruptions. Industries across Lincoln—including agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, and retail—are facing increased costs and uncertainty due to evolving import/export duties and regulatory changes.
To ensure a coordinated response, the Lincoln Tariff Response Team (LTRT) was established in March 2025 as a central resource for local businesses navigating these challenges.
