Patrons must be respectful of fellow skaters and rules outlined. Please report all accidents or injuries to the Customer Service Desk or Town of Lincoln Staff immediately.
- Patrons must obey by the following rules of conduct to ensure a safe and pleasant skating experience.
- Skates are REQUIRED on the ice for all participants. No shoes shall be worn.
- Children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied to the skate by a responsible person 16 yrs or older who must maintain visual contact throughout the skate.
- Properly fitted CSA approved helmets are strongly recommended for all patrons and mandatory for all children 12 years of age and under.
- Helmets are mandatory for all patrons participating in Preschool & Family Stick and Puck Programs, including parents and children.
- Bicycle helmets are not permitted.
- Sticks and pucks are not permitted during public skate or adult skate.
- Strollers, baby carriers and chairs are not permitted on the ice. No carrying children while on the ice surface.
- Skate aids are available for use and should be used with accompaniment of a responsible person on skates.
- Skaters are asked to skate at a sensible and safe speed in the same direction as other skaters.
- The middle of the ice surface is reserved for children and less confident skaters.
- No headsets, cell phones, or hand-held electronic devices are to be used while skating.
- Food and drinks and are not permitted on the ice surface. They are to be enjoyed in the lobby or stands.
- Foul language or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal from the facility.
- No games, tag, rough-play, horseplay or speed skating. These may be fun for some but can be dangerous to others.
- No figure skating maneuvers.
- Patrons must always conduct themselves appropriately.
Patrons using the facility do so at their own risk. The Town of Lincoln does not accept responsibility for any related risks or injuries (including, but not limited to, personal injury, permanent disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, liability, or expense, of any kind, that users may experience or incur in connection with attendance at this program
