Nomination Information and Campaign Rules
If you wish to run as a candidate in the Town of Lincoln municipal election, you must file a nomination paper. All prospective candidates are required to book an in‑person appointment with the Clerk's Office to submit their nomination.
- The first day to file a nomination paper for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election is May 1, 2026.
- Nominations will be accepted up to Friday, August 21 between 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- A person cannot raise or spend money on an election campaign until a nomination paper has been filed.
