Media Release: Lincoln Fire Rescue Service receives grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada for critical lifesaving equipment

Lincoln, ON – (January 30, 2026) – As first responders continue to serve the Town of Lincoln, it’s important that Lincoln Fire Rescue Service remains properly equipped to handle all emergencies. Firehouse Subs Public Safey Foundation of Canada® recognized Lincoln’s need for new lifesaving equipment and recently awarded the service with a $9,893.15 CAD grant to purchase four Draeger Gas Monitors & Accessories.

The new Draeger Gas Monitors & Accessories will support safer emergency responses by enabling the early detection of dangerous gases, helping safeguard the community and first responders, and ultimately improving lifesaving capabilities when called into action.

Lincoln Fire Rescue Service proudly serves approximately 25,750 residents, providing fire suppression, emergency response, rescue services, and public safety education. The service is committed to protecting lives and property while ensuring firefighters are equipped with the tools needed to respond safely and effectively to emergencies.
