Lincoln, ON – (July 27, 2023) – The Town of Lincoln in partnership with the Niagara Community Foundation is thrilled to announce the funds raised and local charity donations from Mayor Easton’s 2023 Charity Golf Tournament.
Mayor Easton's highly anticipated 2023 Charity Golf Tournament, held at Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club on Wednesday, June 28, has successfully concluded, raising a total of $93,580 in funds. The event saw an overwhelming response with 156 golfers registering for a day of friendly competition and community support.
The funds were raised through various channels, including sponsorships, golfer registrations and a unique golf ball pull activity. The Town of Lincoln is proud to announce that a total amount of $60,000 will be distributed among the following local charities:
- Niagara Community Foundation
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara
- Gillian’s Place
- Rotary Club of Lincoln
- Community Care of West Niagara
- Village of Hope
- Rose Cottage Visiting Volunteers
- Cave Springs Camp
- Convos Youth Zone
- Niagara West Adult Learning Centre
- Niagara Children's Centre

The feedback from participants of the event was positive, with many praising the tournament's new format and inclusions. The new format of a sole partnership between the Town of Lincoln and the Niagara Community Foundation has proven to be a great success. This collaboration exemplifies our commitment to giving back to the community, as all net proceeds from the event are dedicated to supporting Lincoln charities.
