Lincoln Fire Rescue Service is a composite fire department that relies on fully trained individuals from throughout our community who serve as volunteer firefighters. The dedicated staff and over 100 volunteers provide fire rescue, community safety, prevention and emergency management to the residents and visitors of Lincoln.
Lincoln Fire Rescue Service responds to approximately 900 emergency calls per year town-wide, with individual station responses ranging from 100 to 500 calls annually. Emergency responses include:
- Fire suppression
- Motor vehicle extrication
- Water and ice rescue
- Medical first response
- Hazardous materials and industrial incidents
