Public Service Announcement – Town Partners with Local Environmental Groups to host Native Tree and Shrub Sale for Community
(Lincoln, ON – Sept. 24, 2020) Fall is the perfect time to add trees and shrubs to your garden. The Niagara Native Gardening Club and Ontariogreen, in partnership with the Town of Lincoln, are hosting a native tree and shrub sale on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020.
With more than a dozen species to choose from, a list of the trees and shrubs is available along with information about their features, including size and soil requirements. All native species have been selected due to their unique characteristics and wildlife value. Many support the health of butterfly and bird species.
Trees and shrubs are 3-gallon pot sized and cost $25. Additionally, available in limited supply for $5 are year-old Pawpaw saplings. All tree and shrub products are from Earthgen Tree Nursery with the exception of the Pawpaw saplings.
Pre-orders for trees and shrubs can be placed in advance and paid for securely online using Paypal, debit or credit card. Orders will be available for drive-thru pick up at Town Hall in the east parking lot on Oct. 10 between 10 a.m. and noon.
