Proposed Change

A Zoning By-law Amendment Application has been submitted to the Town by Upper Canada Consultants on behalf of the owners of 3865 Wismer Street in Jordan. The subject lands are within the Town’s Mixed Use policy area and is designated a Gateway. Within the Town’s Zoning By-law, the subject lands are zoned as Residential 1 (R1).

The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment application is to rezone the subject lands from Residential 1 (R1) to General Commercial – Central Business District (GC)(CBD). The rezoning is requested to permit the construction of a private parking lot with vehicular access from Wismer Street. The parking lot is intended to serve the staff parking needs for existing businesses in the immediate area.

A copy of the preliminary site plan and rendering, along with all other submitted documents can be found at Speak Up Lincoln.
