Road Closure
Type(s)
Public Notice

Niagara Region is advising the public of short-duration road closures on King Street (Regional Road 81) as part of the ongoing Twenty Mile Creek Bridge Replacement project.

To help move the bridge replacement forward, short road closures are needed so crews can safely install girders.

What’s Closed and When?

  • Twenty Mile Creek Bridge – King Street (Regional Road 81) located between Nineteenth Street and Brookside Drive
  • Monday, June 16 – Wednesday, June 18
  • Between 9am and 3pm daily
  • Short-term closures lasting approximately 20 minutes each, with up to 3-4 closures per day

During these short-term closures, there will be no access over the temporary bridge structure. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes to avoid delays.

Traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage safety and traffic flow during the closure periods.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as this important infrastructure project progresses.
