Notice of Public Meeting for Minor Variance Application
Purpose of Application
An application has been submitted by the owner of a property known municipally as 4204 Mountain Street in Beamsville. The applicant is proposing to construct an addition to a duplex to allow for it’s conversion to a fourplex. The applicant is seeking the following variances:
- A northerly rear yard setback of 3.5 metres, whereas 7.5 metres is required in the Residential Multiple 1 (RM1) Zone
- A reduced dwelling unit area of 60 square metres, whereas 80 square metres is required in the Residential Multiple 1 (RM1) Zone
- To permit tandem parking for a fourplex
The Residential Multiple 1 (RM1) Zone permits a fourplex.
