A truck rollover occured the morning of January 12, 2024 on the QEW in Lincoln. Around 8 a.m. the QEW was closed in both directions between Ontario Street and Victoria Avenue.
As of 10:30 a.m., the QEW remains closed Niagara-bound in the same section, as well as a portion of the South Service Road at Tufford Road. The North Service Road and Toronto-bound QEW have re-opened.
Ontario Provincial Police have reported that two vehicles were involved and no serious injuries were reported.
Traffic Impacts:
We are seeing significant delays on Lincoln's road network and in surrounding communities. Please expect closures to remain in place for several hours, and prepare for delays.
Facility Impacts:
- To date, there are no significant impacts to Town of Lincoln facilities or programs.
- Facility user groups have been notified .
- Please plan accordingly and expect delays reaching Town of Lincoln facilities.
