Please be advised that the Ontario Street Southbound Lane at Greenlane will be temporarily closed as part of the Town's Greenlane Road Reconstruction Project.
What’s Closed and When?
- Ontario Street Southbound Lane at Greenlane
- Wednesday, September 3 (7 a.m.) to Thursday, September 4 (end of day) - weather permitting.
- Monday, September 15 (7 a.m.) to Wednesday, September 17 (end of day) - weather permitting.
Additional Information:
- Businesses remain open during this road closure.
- This closure is necessary to completed the Regional Watermain connection and capping, as well as milling and paving for the Town's Greenlane Road Reconstruction Project. Click here to learn more.
- Closure dates are subject to change.
Traffic Impacts:
- The intersection of Ontario Street and Greenlane will be closed to Southbound traffic only.
- Eastbound and westbound traffic on Greenlane will remain open, with traffic control measures in place.
- Northbound traffic on Ontario Street will remain open, with traffic control measures in effect.
- Southbound traffic on Ontario Street past Union Road will be limited to local traffic only for those trying to access businesses in the Sobeys plaza. Ontario and Greenlane access to the plaza remains open.
- Lincoln Avenue will be re-opened in advance of this closure.
