Public Information Centres: Proposed Private Tree By-law
The Town of Lincoln is proposing a Private Property Tree By-law as part of our ongoing efforts to grow and maintain a healthy urban tree canopy. The By-law aims to regulate the injury or removal of trees on private property, helping to preserve Lincoln’s urban tree canopy while balancing the needs of property owners.
Public Engagement
The Town of Lincoln is hosting two Public Information Centres to help residents and businesses learn more about the proposed private Property Tree By-law. These sessions will cover:
- When a permit is required
- When it is not required
- Replacement tree requirements
- The permitting process
- Associated costs
Town Staff will present key details about the By-law and be available to answer questions and gather your feedback.
