Lincoln, ON – (July 10, 2026) – As part of the Town’s annual Road Resurfacing and Rehabilitation Program, active construction will be underway on John Street, between Victoria Avenue and Maple Grove Road. This work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday July 15th, weather permitting. 

The 2026 Road Rehabilitation and Resurfacing Program focuses on improving roads in poor condition and protecting roads in good condition through timely maintenance, helping to maximize the life of the Town’s road network.

What to Expect:

  • Road resurfacing and rehabilitation work on John Street, between Victoria Avenue and Maple Grove Road.
  • Scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 15, 2026 (weather permitting).
  • John Street may be reduced to one lane of traffic - drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes throughout the duration of active days of construction.
  • Access for local traffic, garbage/recycling collection, and emergency services will be maintained.
  • If your driveway will be impacted by construction, you will be contacted by the contractor within 24-48 hours of work taking place at your driveway.

Local businesses remain open and accessible throughout the duration of construction. Please continue to support local.
