Please be advised that the provincial committee overseeing the study on regional governance will hold a public meeting in Niagara Region (St. Catharines) and has scheduled meetings in other communities undergoing a review of regional governance (Durham, Halton, County of Simcoe, Waterloo and York). Members of the public can attend any of the province-led meetings in these communities:
- St. Catharines on January 10, 2024
- Burlington on January 11, 2024
- Brampton on January 12, 2024
- Ajax on January 16, 2024
- Vaughan on January 17, 2024
- Kitchener on January 18, 2024
Exact locations for the public meetings have not yet been released. Those who wish to speak at the meeting are being asked to register before 12 p.m. on January 3, 2024, for the meetings in St. Catharines, Burlington and Brampton (and before 12 p.m. on January 9, 2024, for Ajax, Vaughan and Kitchener). Individuals can also send in written submissions until 7 p.m. on January 18, 2024.
