Public Notice: Lincoln Museum Closed September 29 – October 10 for Exhibition Changeover

Lincoln, ON – (September 25, 2025) The main building of the Lincoln Museum & Cultural Centre will be closed for its fall exhibition changeover from Monday, September 29, to Friday, October 10, 2025. No programs or events will take place during this time. During this period the Historic buildings (1859 Schoolhouse and 1815 Fry Family House) will be open for tour during museum opening hours. 

The exhibits will reopen to the public on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with the unveiling of an exciting new exhibition:

Through the Grapevine: Winemaking in Niagara  

Discover the people, organizations, and events that have shaped the long history of winemaking in Niagara with Through the Grapevine. Learn about early attempts at winemaking and the difficult path faced by entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, and growers as they sought to make Niagara a premium wine region. Using historical artifacts, interactive elements, and accessible information panels, this exhibit is suitable for both wine experts and beginners. Come get a taste of both history and the passion that defines Niagara wine culture today. Cheers!
