Lincoln, ON – (April 19, 2024) – Today, the Town of Lincoln is excited to announce the selection of local charities set to benefit from Mayor Easton's 2024 Charity Golf Tournament.
The Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament will continue to partner with the Niagara Community Foundation, with 100% of the net proceeds going back to charities in Lincoln, a sector that works on behalf of those in need in our community.
“This is the second year of our new golf tournament format, and I am thrilled to see our community coming together once again to raise funds for our local charities,” said Town of Lincoln Mayor Sandra Easton. "Our collective efforts are a testament to the generosity and harmony within our community."
The following charities will receive funds raised from the Mayor’s Golf Tournament:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara
- Gillians Place
- Pathstone Foundation
- Niagara Childrens Centre
- Community Care West Niagara
- Village of Hope
- Niagara West Adult Learning
- Niagara Community Foundation

Background on the Mayor’s annual golf tournament:
Since Mayor Easton became Mayor of the Town of Lincoln in 2014, donations from her annual golf tournament have been made to local agencies of more than $105,000 providing vital community support in addition to funds being added to The Lincoln Community Fund. The Lincoln Community Fund was started by Mayor Easton’s office in 2015 through the Niagara Community Foundation and provides grants to charities serving the community. In 2023, $60,000 was donated to local Lincoln charities to support our community.
