Lincoln, ON (October 3, 2022) - The Town of Lincoln will have alternative voting methods available for those unable to cast their ballot on October 24, 2022 – Election Day.
The Town of Lincoln will offer the following opportunities for advance voting.
Advanced Polls - Online
- October 5 at 10:00 a.m. until October 19 at 8:00 p.m. | 24 hours a day
Advance Polls – In Person
- October 15 & 19 | 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. | Town Hall
** Accessible voting equipment will be available.
Assigning a Voting Proxy
- A voting proxy is someone who will cast a ballot on another’s behalf in their absence.
- The person acting as a proxy must also be an eligible elector.
- If an individual wants to appoint a voting proxy, forms can be picked up at the Clerk's office during regular business hours up to and including polling day (October 24, 2022), or the form can be found online here: Appointment for Voting Proxy – Form 3.
- It is recommended that, where possible, proxy voting takes place during Advance Voting, mainly for the convenience of the appointee.
