Lincoln, ON – (October 10, 2023) – The Town of Lincoln is delighted to announce that its newly launched website has been honoured with winning bronze for the prestigious Summit Creative Award, presented by the Summit International Awards organization. This renowned organization, celebrating its 29th anniversary this year, is dedicated to recognizing creative excellence in advertising, marketing, and communication.
The new Lincoln.ca is designed to showcase the vibrant and dynamic community of Lincoln and make it easier to find information about the programs and services offered by the Town. The new website also expands the Town’s online offerings and services to be more engaging and most importantly, improve customer experience. Since launching the new website, the Town has also integrated online permitting software and more interactive tools to further enhance the user experience.
"This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication put into our website's redesign,” said Town of Lincoln Mayor Sandra Easton. “We aimed to create a platform that not only serves our community effectively but also stands out in the realm of creative government communication. Winning bronze for the Summit Creative Award is an honour and a recognition of our commitment to excellence."
The Summit Creative Award is the flagship program of the Summit International Awards organization, evaluating entries from various categories, including the Government Website category under which the Town of Lincoln's website was submitted. A panel of industry experts thoroughly assessed entries, granting awards to projects that demonstrated exceptional levels of creativity, innovation, and effectiveness in communication.
The Town of Lincoln's website, designed and developed by Upanup, was submitted earlier this year, immediately following the website's launch. The submission was part of Upanup's client relations program, where designs that showcase exceptional creativity and innovation are submitted for awards.
