The Town of Lincoln is seeking friendly, responsible, and safety-focused individuals to join our team as Part-Time Skate Patrollers for the fall and winter season, running from October 2025 through March 2026. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working in a community setting and being active on the ice.
As a Skate Patroller, you will help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants during public skate programs. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the on-ice safety of patrons during public skate programs by enforcing rules
- Providing quality customer service
- Operational and routine maintenance activities
- Performing minor first aid
- Assisting arena operators
- Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- First Aid & CPR – C/AED certification
- Flexibility in work hours and schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
- Ability to skate
- A strong commitment to provide excellent customer service
- Adaptable to change, ability to grasp new concepts quickly, and excel in a team environment as well as independently.
Hours and shifts may vary; but candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends. The hourly rate is $17.20.
