The Town of Lincoln is now accepting applications for the position of Pool Supervisor.  Reporting to the Recreation & Sports Coordinator the Pool Supervisor ensures the implementation of a safe, enjoyable, accessible and diversified aquatic program and provides assistance and leadership to all staff. The Town operates two (2) outdoor pools, one in Jordan and one in Beamsville, this position includes organizing and overseeing all aspects of the pools, including staff management, administration, risk management and public relations. . 

The Successful Candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Aquatic Supervisory Training (AST);
  • Current National Lifeguard Service Certification
  • Current Lifesaving Society Instructor and Swim Instructor certification;
  • Current Lifesaving Aquatic Manager Certificate;
  • Current Lifesaving Society Pool Operator Level 1 
  • Current Standard First Aid / CPR C certification / AED;
  • High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development Certificate;
  • Minimum of 16 years of age 
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Headguard / Swim Instructor;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Experience working with minimal supervision and leading a team;
  • Valid Class G Driver’s License and access to a vehicle;
  • Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check (for those candidates over the age of 18);
  • Planning on returning to school in the Fall of 2026.
  • Lifesaving Society Bronze or NL Examiner, Swim Instructor Trainer or National Lifeguard Trainer would be considered an asset
  • High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development - Sport would be considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of MS office products and registration software programs considered an asset
  • Supervisory experience is preferred;

Hours and shifts may vary; but candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends. The hourly rate is $23.65.
