Council meets regularly to discuss the Town’s business as representatives of the public. Council directs staff to develop and evaluate municipal policies and programs, ensures transparency of decision-making, and maintains the financial integrity of the municipality. Each Member of Council, in addition to sitting on Council, sits on the Town's Standing Committees and various Advisory Committees.
Council, Standing Committees and Advisory Boards and Committees adhere to the Town's Procedural By-law.
Most meetings start at 6:00 p.m., are open to the public, and are live-streamed on our Town's YouTube Channel. A calendar of meetings can be found below. Please click on the meeting date within the calendar to view videos of previous meetings or visit our YouTube Channel where videos are saved.
