JORDAN HISTORICAL MUSEUM
The Jordan Historical Museum, nestled in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula, is located in the picturesque village of Jordan. The Museum is comprised of two historic buildings and the main administrative/exhibit building, all situated in a park like setting overlooking the stunning Twenty Valley.
Join our costumed interpreters for a guided tour of the Fry House, which depicts the fascinating lifestyle of a Mennonite family in the 1830’s. Then proceed to the one-room School House which was built in 1859, and whose interior has been lovingly restored to 1908. Go back to the world of slates, pen and ink, and separate entrances for boys and girls! Bring a picnic, and enjoy our beautiful, tree-shaded grounds. If you prefer, take the Waterfront Trail down to the valley floor, or follow the path further along to the Village of Jordan where a host of experiences await
