Town of Lincoln Councillor elected to AMO Board of Directors

Lincoln, ON – (August 16, 2016) At the annual Association of Municipalities Ontario (AMO) Conference being held in Windsor, ON from August 14-17, 2016, Robert Foster, Ward 1 Councillor and Deputy Mayor was elected to the AMO Board of Directors – Small Urban Caucus.

Robert has been a Councillor for 16 years and served throughout on the Economic Development and Planning Committee, acting as Chair of the Committee for 9 years. He has also been on the Ontario Small Urban Municipalities (OSUM) board for 5 years.

“Councillor Foster has a deep insight into the issues being dealt with by the community and it will be very positive to have these brought forward at a provincial level” said CAO Michael Kirkopoulos.

“This is great news and I know Councillor Foster will be a great asset and offer welcome support at this level for the Town of Lincoln” said Mayor Sandra Easton.
