Report a Streetlight Problem

Deficient Street Light Reporting

Although Town crews regularly patrol streets, street light problems can occur without warning - we need your help.

In the event that you observe a street light that is not working properly (i.e. burned-out, flickering, on all the time, etc.), please either contact the Public Works Department at 905-563-8205 or complete the form below.

Take note of the exact location of the street light. Please be specific, let us know:

  • your name and contact information,
  • the street the light is on,
  • the address or building the light is in front of,
  • the pole number (if possible).

The Town of Lincoln contracts with Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. for the maintenance of street lights - and reported street light deficiencies are sent to Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. for action on a weekly basis.

Please complete the form below and click on Submit; staff will be happy to follow up on your notification.

With your help we can help keep our roads and neighbourhoods safe.

Personal information collected in the form below is collected pursuant the Municipal Act and the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be used for the purpose of responding to the complaint. Questions about this collection should be directed to the Town Clerk at (905) 563-8205.

Please identify street and nearest property address (if available) or other information that will help us locate the streetlight.
If possible (each pole has a unique number stencilled on it).
Please indicate the problem (eg. burned-out, flickering, always on) or any other comments.
