Homecoming Festival (September 29-October 1)
September 29 - October 1, 2017
An all-inclusive community celebration to welcome all who call Lincoln ‘home’ & those with roots in our Town to ‘come home’.
This event will be the Town of Lincoln's Canada 150 Legacy Project and is a 3-day event focusing on three themes to highlight the ‘life and times’ of our Town over 150+ years and into the future.
- Cultural Life & Times: Celebrating our Town’s rich social heritage – history and cultural identities of our people and natural & built landscape.
- Economic Life & Times: Celebrating the evolution of business sectors that have contributed to the economic development and wellbeing of our Town over the years and to provide a glimpse into its future as it grows and flourishes as a “Centre of Excellence for Agriculture”
- Civic Life & Times: Celebrating ‘home grown’ leaders (past & present) who have distinguished themselves as role models and community builders locally and beyond.
