Town of Lincoln's Jordan Historical Museum

The Jordan Historical Museum awaits you, ready to take you into the worlds of the early Pennsylvania Mennonite settlers and the Edwardian Schoolmistress.

Come visit S.S. #4, the Jordan School House, and go back into the world of slates, pen and ink, and separate entrances for boys and girls!

Experience life as it was in the 1830's, in the log home of the Fry family!  The Fry House is one of the earliest known German Pennsylvania Mennonite homes in Ontario, complete with original furnishings and rare artifacts.

Bring a picnic, and enjoy the beautiful park setting of the Museum.

Take a hike down the steps and along the Twenty Valley Trail Loop of the Waterfront Trail!

Town of Lincoln's Jordan Historical MuseumCome experience some of the 10,000 artifacts in the permanent Collection in our new exhibit. Featured is our collection of Pennsylvania German Mennonite fraktur folk art. The Heritage House also contains a unique library and archive resource for those interested in genealogical and historical research.
 

Wander the unique and charming Village of Jordan, with its' shops, winery, world-class restaurant and accommodations. Don't forget the Museum's own Heritage Gift Shop, famous for its' fudge!

The Heritage House is wheelchair accessible, and the two historic buildings are partially accessible. Call or email us for details and arrangements.
