Canada 150

Lincoln Celebrates Canada 150

It's our Nation's 150th Birthday this year, and Lincoln we're celebrating!

On July 1, 1867, Ontario along with several other provinces entered into Confederation, so this is why we celebrate Canada’s anniversary each year on July 1st. 2017 will mark our 150th anniversary and The Town of Lincoln is currently planning for a fantastic year of events to celebrate this momentous milestone. Over the course of the year, a variety of events and activities will celebrate our rich history, culture and diversity. These events are a chance to celebrate and remind us of our history, look forward to the future and create legacy for our community

Canada 150 Committee

The Town of Lincoln has established a Canada 150 Committee that is actively involved with all the planning and communication about this exciting year, including two community workshops, the planting of the Town's Canada 150 Celebration Garden, and Tulip Giveaway to residents and businesses across Lincoln
