PUBLIC SKATING

A wide variety of skating programs exist at the Lincoln Arenas providing residents with many options to keep physically active while promoting healthy lifestyles within our community.

18+ Pick Up Hockey

Saturdays 9:00 - 10:00 pm at the Community Complex
$10/player
 

Tiny Tots: This is an opportunity for adults to teach young children how to skate. The skating session is for pre-schoolers ages 5 years or younger. No hockey sticks or figure skating allowed. All tiny tots must be wear a properly fitted C.S.A. approved helmet and accompanied on the ice by a parent/guardian wearing skates.

Adult / Senior Skate:This is an opportunity for open skate for those 18 years of age and older. No hockey sticks or figure skating allowed. A properly fitted C.S.A. approved helmet is strongly recommended.

Rentals: Available for Birthday Parties, Private Rentals, School Groups etc…

CANCELLATIONS

Public Skate (Adult Skate, Public Skate, Free Skate or Tiny Tot Skate) is cancelled on the following dates at the Fleming Memorial Arena:

Friday, March 13
Saturday, March 14 (pick up hockey is still running)
Thursday, March 19
Friday, March 20
Saturday, March 21(pick up  hockey is still running.

Saturday, March 28 (pick up Hockey is still running)

Public Skate (Adult Skate, Public Skate, Free Skate or Tiny Tot Skate) is cancelled on the following dates the Jordan Arena:

FLEMING MEMORIAL ARENA - at the Fleming Centre
(5020 Serena Dr, Beamsville)

The Fleming Memorial Arena is the home of the Lincoln Minor Hockey Association and many other skating and hockey groups from mid September to the end of March.

OUTDOOR RINKS

HILARY BALD OUTDOOR RINK - Garden Gate Terrace, Beamsville

RINK HOURS

The outdoor rink will be open December – March (weather permitting)

Rink will be open daily from 9 am until 9 pm

Rink is designed for recreational purposes.
Use of hockey sticks, balls or pucks is not permitted.
Organized games are not permitted.

Please be reminded of the rules for the Hilary Bald Park Outdoor Rink.

  • Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult/guardian at least 15 years of age.
  • Children 12 years of age and under must wear a properly fitted CSA approved helmet.
  • All participants must wear skates while on the ice surface.
  • No organized games or leagues permitted on the ice.
  • No chairs, sleds, strollers, pylons
  • No food or drink on the ice surface
  • No alcohol
  • No throwing of snow, ice and objects
  • No bike helmets (CSA approved helmets only)
  • No carrying children on the ice
